In fact, we are more than just a luxury kennels, we are a five star hotel for dogs that provides a level of peace, comfort, love, care, attention and cleanliness that you will find difficult to surpass and where nothing is too much trouble.

Martin, Lesley and the team understand that our guests are more than just pets, they are your ‘children’, adored members of your family and that when you go away you need the peace of mind that comes with knowing your beloved doggies are in the best possible hands and as we only have eight rooms, plenty of love and attention is guaranteed.

Each spacious, hand painted and themed room has top of the range electric heating and air conditioning, a glow effect fire, TV, DVD player and a fitted comfort carpet. All inside a fully secure, alarmed, purpose built, solid brick building and set in tranquil surroundings with beautiful views across the open countryside. Together with their own private runs there is a three acre, completely secure play area where they can run free several times a day.

We have collectively more than 40 years experience of looking after dogs and we are truly proud of our exceptional reputation.

  Outstanding!  Gorgeous homely room with an outdoor run overlooking the garden.  We were able to take everything that we needed to make it familiar for Minnie - our 7yr old Jug.   It’s her 2nd visit and she settled in immediately and loved running free in the secure play area.
Grace, Charley, Harriet and Gabby were really welcoming and friendly.  Minnie loved them. They listened and noted down her quirky little habits and personalised her dietary requirements. They even asked and wrote down the names of all her toys and the phrases that we use with her. They went above and beyond by sending us regular updates and videos . We have been able to completely relax on our 2 week holiday knowing that our precious little girl was being lovingly cared for and totally safe. Thank you all so much xx

  I was very apprehensive about leaving our 2 year old cockerpoo for the first time but it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.  A really big thank you to Grace, Harriet, Charley and Rachel.  The daily videos and pictures meant a lot for me and our children so that we could ‘see’ Pippa each day when we were away.   This was our first time being away from our girls and we were very anxious about leaving them. Martin, Grace and Lydia completely put my mind at rest the moment we first spoke with them on the phone! Lovely place, lovely people!   First time using Top Dog. I have a young, very ‘precious’ little Iggy who I was worried about. Her first time being away from me, ever! And an old boarder who likes her home comforts. They looked in great shape and seemed very calm on collection day. I received regular photos/videos while I was anyway thanks to Grace, lovely to see and put our minds at rest!! Martin and the team did an excellent job of caring for my girls. Would highly recommend.

  Wow, what can I say? What an absolutely fantastic experience we have had boarding Holly and Bunker at Top Dog.
As they are both rescue dogs we felt really apprehensive about them staying in kennels while we were away, but these boarding suites are by no means kennels.
From the moment we arrived to drop them off we immediately felt at ease. Martin was extremely welcoming and left us in the capable hands of Grace, Lydia and Lilly who were fantastic. They went through every detail of Holly and Bunker's likes and dislikes and their character traits.
We were sent daily update videos of Holly and Bunker enjoying the safe enclosed  field.
We could not be happier with how they were looked after, in fact we're bit sure they wdidnt want to come home!
